Sony Xperia Z5 press images leak, 23MP rear camera with six-element lens confirmed

Barely a week before the IFA 2015 kicks off, the press images of the Sony Xperia Z5 have been leaked, confirming the upgraded 23MP rear camera.

Although we have seen a number of Xperia Z5 images leaked so far, it is the first time that the camera specs have been confirmed. Chinese sources had recently indicated that the Xperia Z 5 will be equipped with a 23MP rear camera, so it turns out they were pretty accurate with the info.

The new sensor may boast of higher resolution, but retains the 1 / 2.3 "size of the IMX220 sensor used on the Xperia Z-series flagships right from the Z1 in 2013 to the Z3 + launched earlier this year. Apart from the sensor, the lens setup has been upgraded as well. It is now a six-element lens setup, similar to a number of other high-end flagship smartphones in the market.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 review (VIDEO)

Samsung's Note line of phones has always been about three things: a huge screen, outsized performance, and a stylus. But now, with the Galaxy Note 5, two of those three things are not so special anymore.
Every Android phone is big now, and almost all of those big phones are fast and powerful. And more than any of them, Apple's iPhone 6 has been eroding Nokia's claim to phablet dominance. The rest of the world caught up with the Galaxy Note.

Fighting all of that was always going to be an uphill struggle, so something had to change. To its credit, Samsung did just that. The new Note is different: It's a beautifully designed object that feels like it belongs to the same family as the other Galaxy phones. If you can not beat 'em with power and size, try to beat' em with design.

A New Look at the Samsung S2 Gear First teaser (VIDEO)

The other day, at the launch of the new Galaxy Note and Galaxy 5 S6 edge +, Samsung is as quick and announced new gear S2 smart clock, which will be officially presented at the IFA in Berlin. Today released the first teaser video, and provides an even better view of the round SmartWatch.

Samsung seems to have everything subordinated opposition to Apple. This is probably the main reason why they rushed this year with the launch of a new Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge +, in order to instill in the head but also got into the hands of customers before the launch of the new iPhone this fall.

Their new smart owl, Gear S2 so will directly confront Apple Watch, which has in record time become the best-selling smart watch market.

Gear Samsung S2 will unlike last year's models have a round screen and it appears to the rotary ring around it, to be used for navigation and so compete with the crown on the side of Apple Watch.

Today published a teaser video does not reveal much, which is normal because it is a task to attract attention. Exterior design hours will probably have a major role in a future video, and today you will see some of the fitness application, different designs watchface, S Health, stopwatch and circular application launcher.

Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge + are great on the test battery

The new Samsung Galaxy 5 and Galaxy S6 edge + have integrated battery capacity of 3000 mAh and many are wondering what kind of autonomy they have. There seems no reason to worry.

Portal PhoneArena has conducted initial testing battery Galaxy Note and Galaxy 5 S6 edge +, and the results are excellent. While Note 5 has a smaller battery compared to its predecessor, the test results showed that he has a better autonomy of Note 4 but most competing devices on the market. The best on the test proved to be a close relative of their Galaxy S6 Active.

Galaxy S6 edge + has the same 3000 mAh battery, but it turned out to have a little something greater autonomy in relation to the notes fifth difference is about 20 minutes of mixed use, but still looking forward to the soul.

Although the reliability of such synthetic tests, we can debate, keep in mind that PhoneArena same test applied to all of the drives and the comparison between them is indicative.

New Galaxy 5 and Galaxy S6 edge + real champions are and where the shorter the better - lasting charging. From 0 1- 100% Galaxy S6 edge + needs 80 minutes charger, and notes only 5 minutes more. And it's a great result, especially if you compare it with the Xperia Z 3, which for the same tenders, should be even 235 minutes.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 drop test (VIDEO)

We know that Samsung has no plans to bring the Galaxy Note5 in Europe and in many other markets, the phone has not a microSD card slot, has a battery that can not be replaced.

However, it appears that endurance is not on the list of negative characteristics that go with this fable. Website PhoneBuff subjected Galaxy Note5 drop tests and discovered that it takes more than a couple of discharging phone on the concrete, in order to destroy the device.

With the help of professional and 100% impartial drop test machines, PhoneBuff is emitted Galaxy Note5 the front and the back, as well as pages from a height of one meter. As expected, the back of the display and the phone were damaged early in the test. On the other hand, the aluminum frame is not shown almost no effect of contact with a hard surface, which is certainly good news for potential buyers of this phone.

It took six simulation falls to fablet completely destroyed. Of course, it is recommended that the Samsung Galaxy Note5 procurement protective case, because I do not want that in moments of awkwardness destroyed 700 dollar device.

Nexus 5 2015 the first photograph live and design leaks (PHOTO/VIDEO)

New Nexus from Google this year will most likely be back to the Nexus 5 and comes in two variants. Here we have a view of the back most likely smaller Nexus 5 2015 from LG's.

This first live photos allegedly showing the back of a prototype of the Nexus 5, 2015 and reveals again polycarbonate case in white with Nexus logo printed vertically. You will notice that around the camera slightly protrudes out of the case, followed by a dual LED and laser autofocus on the left. There is speculation that it is a 16 MP or 20.7 MP camera.

This round under the camera is supposedly a fingerprint sensor, which as we know Android M get native support.

The openings do not see the rear speakers, which to some extent confirmed by the speculation that it will on the new Nexus 5, 2015 get a frontal position, which we certainly welcome, especially if it is a stereo speaker that can compete with HTC BoomSound speakers.

On a white najljepnici with bar code, to be observed and the LG logo.

This photo live in accordance with previously published renderings devices:

This is does not look particularly impressive, at least as far as design.

New Nexus from LG and Huawei, are expected sometime in the second half of October

First renders of the Huawei Nexus phone are here (VIDEO)

As we already know, the 2015 generation Nexus will come in two incarnations, those made by LG, the other by Huawei. Leakster @OnLeaks seems to be keeping good track of both versions and recently outed both sets of specs, though with varying levels of certainty.

A couple of days later the first renders of the LG Nexus 5 (2015) ensued and it was only natural that the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) will come next. Here it is, sporting a full metal build, though both the materials and color scheme are purely the vision of 3D artist and will not necessarily be in the final product. That said, the metal body seems more than likely, given that another reputable source was spotted saying it.

Setting build aside, the device and the renders features a fingerprint sensor on the back, much like on the lesser LG version. Unlike that one, however, the Samsung Nexus' main camera sits off-center, but is still joined by a dual-LED dual-tone flash.

The symmetrical design with two cutouts on the front for stereo speakers is similar between the two models, and so is the Type-C microUSB port - the next big thing and wired smartphone connectivity.

Galaxy Note 5 this year will not be supplied to Europe

Now that Samsung has finally unveiled the new Galaxy 5 and Galaxy S6 + edge, we were hoping to break from the news and rumors related to the two devices, but it is not over yet. The Galaxy 5 is not going to the European market this year. Shock and disbelief, they would say.

Last night was subsequently reported that although the Galaxy 5 in the US market in sales by the end of this month, Europeans will be a long wait. For unknown reasons, except for some tactical, Samsung in Europe does not intend to offer the Galaxy Note 5 to the end of this year. In Europe will soon get his brother Galaxy S6 + edge, but not the Galaxy Note5.

Although these are two very similar devices, at least in terms of specifications, I believe that this news will irritate many of you, because S6 + edge sounds and looks very nice but doesn't have  the famous S Pen as Note5.

Although not explicitly confirmed, the Galaxy will probably in this area still occur, but if this happens there will be before the start of 2016.

What Samsung is trying to achieve with this move now is not clear.

Official Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe and Zenfone 2 Laser

In the middle of a fairly quiet week Asus introduced new Zenfones to bolster an already strong lineup. The Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe is a prettied up version of the Zenfone 2 from earlier this year, while the Zenfone 2 Laser is a version of the 5 "model but with a better camera performance.

Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe
Even with the same dimensions as the model from March, the Zenfone 2 Deluxe stands out with its curious "premium-crafted polygonal design." It features 500+ triangles joined together for a "crystal miracle."

The Zenfone 2 Deluxe is still a dual-SIM phone with a 5.5 "1080p screen (Gorilla Glass 3 on top) and is powered by the same Intel chipsets - 3560 and 3580. This time both feature 4GB of RAM (the older model had paired The 3560 with 3GB of RAM).

Another improvement is that the base storage is now 64GB and you can go up to 128GB. You can add another 128GB with a microSD card. It runs Android 5.0 lollipop as before.

The camera setup is the same - 13 mPa for photographing others, 5MP for yourself. Video capture resolution is not listed but we suspect it's still at 1080p. Inside is a 3,000m battery with BoostMaster fast charging - 60% in 39 minutes.

Asus Zenfone 2 Laser
Like the ZE500CL, the Asus Zenfone 2 laser has a 5 "screen and 720p is more compact than its 5.5" siblings. The change is the camera - it's now 13 mPa (up from 8MP), which can be extended up to 52MP with Super Resolution mode.

And as the name suggests there's Laser autofocus. The main camera features 5 lenses and an f / 2.0 aperture, while the 5MP camera selfie (up from 2MP) has a wide-angle 85 ° lens with f / 2.0 aperture. The laser autofocus system promises focus locks and 0.3s and works even for macros. There's a Super HDR mode for shooting against bright light and a low-light mode for "4x light sensitivity and noise reduction."

Unlike the other two 5 "Zenfone 2 models, the Asus Zenfone 2 laser is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (the others use Intel Atoms). It has 2GB of RAM and 8GB or 16GB of storage (expandable, of course).

The 5 "screen has 720p resolution and it's a non-IPS panel, but at least it's protected by Gorilla Glass fourth Like its big bro it runs Android 5.0 lollipop and has LTE connectivity. The battery is 2,070mAh or 2,400mAh either, this could be a regional thing.

Asus Zenfone Max with a massive 5000mAh battery

Asus has introduced a new phone, which comes with a battery that keeps the phone in the function of a day or two (and maybe more) on a single charge. Asus Zenfone Max 5.5-inch phone with a 5000mAh battery.

Asus Zenfone Max will be available in October, and the company introduced the phone during a presentation in India. Therefore, it is assumed that India will be one of the first markets in which to make its debut this phone. In addition, it comes with such a large battery, Asus has decided to Zenfone Max Ways kind portable charging station devices. This means that the connection via USB cable, Asus Zenfone Max can be used to power the tablet or another phone.

Quite apart from the battery, Asus Zenfone Max has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, 13 mPa camera on the back (with laser autofocus and dual-LED flash) and a front camera of 5MP.

Sony Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M5 handled before announcemen (PHOTO)

Sony has been teasing a product announcement for August 3, two days from now, and the main theme for it seems to be gold. We are, however, quite intrigued by the more orthodox white and black Xperias that posed for a hands-on photoshoot on Russian tech site hi-tech.mail.ru. Though the article has been removed by now, the images are already circulating and they leave little to the imagination.

The handsets in question are the oft-leaked Xperia C5 Ultra, also known as Sony Lavender, and the so far unheard-of Xperia M5 (but perhaps Aqua moniker this time?).

Sony Xperia C5 Ultra

The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra looks as striking as the leaks suggested, its side bezels nearly non-existent at 0.8mm. In between them sits a huge 6-inch HD display, but thanks to the thin frame the smartphone is reasonably compact - of course, as much as a 6-inch phablet can be compact. The size comparison to the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus above reveals just how efficiently the C5 Ultra's footprint has been utilized.

The smartphone comes with a 13 MP primary camera on the back, but that's not its chief claim to fame. In keeping with C-series traditions, the Xperia C5 Ultra is strong on selfie photography and now boasts a second 13 MP sensor on the front, up f
rom the 5MP of the Xperia C4. The front flash has not been forgotten, too.

The less exciting lines in the specsheet sheet and Mediatek 6752 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage (expandable via microSD). The 2,930mAh battery may prove inadequate for such a large diagonal, but we can not know for certain until we get to test those. The 187g weight, on the other hand, sounds about right for the size.

The price in Russia is quoted at the equivalent of $ 340- $ 360, but the figures there are often a bit higher than average, so it may end up being more affordable elsewhere.

Sony Xperia M5

Sony Xperia M5 has a design very similar to the design of the Xperia Z 3 +, which in this region will not see. She funra conventional 5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display, and runs the eight-core MediaTek Helio X10 clocking 2 GHz with a fine 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable memory.

And new Xperia M5 has a promising Camera - 21.5 megapixel Exmor RS camera back, allegedly with 5x zoom with no loss in image quality with support for 4K video. The front is in turn 13 MP selfie camera.

Xperia M5 will occupy the profile of 7.6 mm, and has a battery capacity of 2600 mAh. There will be a dual SIM version. Despite an open USB port, fura IP65 / IP68 water resistance certification.

Xperia M5 will reportedly cost between $ 390 and $ 406
